Utility Assistance is a community-based, non-profit organization. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, or local government agency or program, including but not limited to any energy assistance or utility relief programs.


2. Purpose of Services

Our services are intended to assist individuals in:

  • Understanding the eligibility requirements for government-sponsored energy assistance programs,

  • Accurately completing and submitting related applications,

  • Providing guidance and support throughout the process.

We do not guarantee approval or receipt of any government benefits, as determinations are made solely by the relevant government agencies.


3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information,

  • Use our services only for lawful purposes,

  • Not impersonate others or submit fraudulent documentation or claims.

You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of your application and any consequences resulting from incorrect or misleading information.


4. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.


5. No Government Affiliation

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Utility Assistance is not a government entity,

  • We do not represent or have a partnership with any utility, government agency, or official assistance program, and

  • Any reference to programs such as HEAP or LIHEAP is for informational purposes only.


6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utility Assistance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services.

We do not warrant that our services will result in any specific outcome, including approval for assistance or financial relief.


7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that a user has violated these Terms or engaged in misuse of our services.


8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
